161.  Tiffani R. Langdon of Washington DC, USA born 1972 at 8:45pm
My mom went into labor on the 27th. Her sister laughed and said that the baby was going to be born on the 29th because she too had 2 day labor with her child. She was right! Here I am, a leaper. My mom always made sure I celebrated my birthday, no matter what year it was. And when the real day did roll around, there was a huge party. This includes the last leap year (my 24th birthday) when she threw a surprise birthday party and invited all of my friends and family. My dad and little brother even flew in from Chicago. Besides that, every morning of that week, I woke up to a birthday gift at the end of my bed! It was great! I can't wait until Leap Year 2000! P.S.-I celebrate on the 28th during non-leap years.

326.  Theresa Murphy of Iowa, USA born 1964 at 1:25am
The older I get, the more fun being a leap day baby is!

1853.  Randall Young of California, USA born 1964 at 2:45 am
Greetings to all you Leapers out there! My first few leaps were rather painful. I have an older brother, four years older than me born on 28 FEB! He would bring me to tears every year when his "day" came along because I didn't have one. Took me a while to realize what he was missing out on. While he has his "one day"... I have the 28th and the 1st of March to celebrate. But even then, I still have to share that day with an Aunt. Oh well!

Every time we celebrate our birthday, it is followed by Olympic Games and US Presidential Elections. See, we got the world's attention. : D So far I met two Leap Day babies, one classmate from my High School, another colleague at work. When I was 8 years old, I thought I was the only one born on that day. You should see my facial expression when I find out the truth.

I would have never expected my son to be born on this day, considering he was a week late. Even though at the time I wanted him out when he was due, which was ironically the 19th, which was the time he was born, i think it's really cool that he is my Leap Year baby!

8043.  Kyelle Middelbosch of Overijssel, The Netherlands born 2008 at 4:32

8044.  Judy Peoples of Texas, USA born 1972
I was born in 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas, my parents Joann and Franklin Lagassey always celebrated my b-day an the 28th but it still did not seem right because it was not my b-day but I guess we manage. I always felt ripped off because my sisters had a birthday every year and I had to wait every four years to have one.

7755.  Michael Hajagos of Ontario, Canada born 1996 at 4:44 pm

8019.  Carol Smith of Georgia, USA born 1956 at AM
I have never met another person that was born on Leap Day. My eye doctor reminds me every time I see him that he just lacked a few hours being born on Leap Day! It's kind of fun, but definitely different only having a birthday every four years. I always want to make it special.

8020.  David Moore of Arkansas, USA born 1964 at 11:45 PM

8021.  Jamie Bostick of Ohio, USA born 1980 at 9:11 PM
This past year I went out with friends to a bar to celebrate (as we don't get many opportunities to drink on our actual day) my 7th birthday and met another Leap Day baby who was turning 6. I also got to meet Kirk Herbstreet from College Gameday as my husband knows a buddy of his and got a picture (total hottie).
