Insurance Issue # 1
I couldn’t get into my medical insurance
provider’s web site
to check on some claims – couldn’t
figure out why. Called
them and they asked me for my ID# and
birth date. Said the
birth date didn’t match so they couldn’t
talk to me.
I eventually found out that they had put
in 2/28. I told them
that was the wrong date, but they
wouldn’t take the change
from me – needed my employer to send
them the correct
info, when probably the person inputting
the date just typed
it wrong because they didn’t think that
date was correct.
Gets to be a pain sometimes. |
Insurance Issue # 2
A Leap Day baby in Seattle Washington
explained
to us what happened in her family. When
she was
a little girl the Insurance Man was over
talking with
her father about insurance. Before her
father signed
the agreement he mentioned to the
insurance man
that his daughter wouldn't have her
"21st birthday"
as it stated in the paper work until she
was 84. The
insurance man had the papers rewritten.
The words
were changed on all the paper work for
the entire
company. |
